Cool, I hope that’s true!
Checked the Sonex website. I don’t find this announcement. Hope it’s true as well. I did go to the AvBrief.com website and found this. Fingers crossed.
I think all of us are keeping fingers crossed!!
Looks real to me. If so, this is fantastic news.
Yay!
Awesome News!
In the Facebook group post by Aaron Nelson, he replied to a comment that John is “staying involved”. Could be as a consultant in some respect. This whole thing sounds like the best possible outcome anyone could have expected.
I wish the whole team success!
Great news to hear. Thanks Mr Osborne, hoping for the best, Mark, Char, and the sonex staff.
Lets celebrate at an open house!
best,
michael.
I’ve already celebrated by placing an order on the Sonex Web Store for some consumables and accessories! ![]()
This is miraculous! I finalized a high wing quick build kit a few weeks before the closure, so I stand to lose about $28k if I don’t actually get a kit. To say that my mood has risen would be an understatement!
Are you guys using the old sonex web store?
Let us know when orders actually are acknowledged & shipped I need a few things.
Looks like a place holder for more to come?
Excellent news!! Mark and Stephen appear very comfortable together. That’s not always the case with corporate shake ups. Forever Forward!!

Aviation is a better place with Sonex in it and producing airplanes!
At the end of the “experimental aircraft channel” video, they mentioned a new e-commerce site will be launched in the next couple weeks. So personally Id recommend waiting for the new store to arrive for making new orders.
I hope they take note of some of the excellent suggestions/observations https://sonexpilots.org/t/if-you-bought-the-sonex-company
Fora cost effective way forward - taking up the offer from Robin Austin, Sonerai developer, would make a lot of sense ![]()
I tried to post this on the brake puck thread, but there is a limit on consecutive posts. With Sonex coming back I’m not going to sell those pucks, as I don’t want to compete with them. It was a great learning experience though!
