Landing Light: Upgrade to LED Posted: Sun Dec 20, 2020 1:29 am by BRS Today I started the task of upgrading from halogen to LED landing lights. I’m using a pair of lights I happen to have laying around. Not the best choice as they are a couple years old, technology wise. For those of you who have upgraded recently, what lights did you use and how do you feel about the results? Not yet sure if these cheap light’s I have will work well or not. We’ll see. There are a bunch of awesome LED lights on Amazon but they tend to have heavy extruded heat sinks. But we are sheet metal mechanics and can overcome that. Pick your lumens, amps, and go for it.
