AeroVW Oil pressure vs Oil temperature

We have low oil pressure problems when hot and pulled back to the idle stop. Generally we do power off 180s to land, as specified in the ancient scrolls. But it’s a pain when the red lights are flashing and you are trying to land. My work to control oil temperature has helped a lot but I’m interested to see what you figure out.

I had posted that I had low oil pressure indicated on the idle stop. One other thing discovered in tonight’s testing - while the MFD was reading zero, the mechanical gauge was steady on 30 PSI or so. We are going to temporarily get a separate VDO gauge and accelerate the new panel plan. I’ll have to review Wes’s documentation on what I’ll need to add to the panel for the VeeCU.
