We have holes drilled in the wheel pants to check and fill the tires. For years I used these extensions.
They come in metal and plastic. Many times the top one would unscrew when I was trying to remove the assembly from the valve stem, even if I glued them together. And sometimes I could not get the tire pressure gauge or air chuck to work with them. I just bought a set of 6” dually extensions.
