Turning off the air conditioning

Before I put these in, we would fog on the ground when it was cold. There was always enough airflow that it cleared. I still have to do the acid test of flying 2-up in the cold at the current configuration, but there are still leaks and I think it will clear. We actually open our vents when it’s fogging on the ground.

Here’s my first phase 2 flight which shows what to expect.

Nice! I bet the performance was spectacular in that nice dense cold air.
You look a little pensive on TO Bryan .
Like, what look to be, Peltor headsets - very comfortable & functional. :smiling_face_with_horns:

It was my first takeoff with a passenger. I was focused. We spent 60 hours with me playing CFI and then he finished his rating in at the flight school.

Peltors were my standard for a long time.

Adam’s smiling face in that takeoff is awesome.

Is that frost on the inside of the canopy? That’s too cold for my blood.

That was before heat! Yep it’s frost.

So after 9 years of Adam and I building, I finished phase 1 earlier that day. We got to go just before sunset so that was his first time flying in the airplane. It was cool!
