Sounds like the specs for my CAMit 3300. About the same on everything listed.

I can blow thru Vne in level flight.

well the advantage rick is that it burns jet a and turbines are typically more reliable but i dont belive the 5 gph and it will probably cost 100k

Now that Jet A is more expensive than 100LL, that isn’t an advantage to me anymore here in FL. I’ll believe the reliability aspect of a new turbine engine design when I see the track record near the PT6 level. You would think with the simpler, fewer parts design of a turbine, that it would be less expensive than a ICE. I think electric motors will become the norm in the future and the turbines will never make it into the majority homebuilt aircraft market.
