Turbo Boost Guage

The manififold pressure reading on the MGL MX1 is too small to read during takeoff. In my case its easy to overdo it meaning I can easily exceed the 40" max if I’m not careful. I would like to install a small vacuum - boost gauge that is easier to see at a glance during the first minute. Does anyone gave a recommendation? I see vdo has a 0-30" to 15 psi guage curious if thats any good.

I bought one from vans aircraft years ago. It works well

Custom gauges/screens on the MX1 are easy (& fun) to do. Might be an option to try before adding other hardware.
