SONEX 22nd Annual Open House & Homecoming Fly-In

Join us the day before the official start of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh for a fun afternoon at Sonex.

Tour the Sonex factory
Connect with builders and pilots and meet the new Sonex owners.

Stick around for the group photo at lunch time.
Sonex pilots flying in to AirVenture are invited to bring their aircraft for everyone to see.

Participate in the traditional mass taxi arrival across the field to the show grounds and Sonex homebuilt parking, along with the fleet of factory prototype aircraft.

Come celebrate the Sonex community with us!
This event is a great opportunity to tour the Sonex Aircraft facility, meet the staff, meet our customers and see both factory and customer aircraft.

Also be sure to download and study the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 NOTAM.

Thanks Michael! Hoping we have the fastest Waiex there. Actually I think we have a chance to place or win our class, as from my experience the VW is only ready for every 1 in 3 airventures.

@daleandee, take note of the class definition!

Class: Experimental - Sportsman

Class Definition:Any Experimental Category aircraft using a VW or Corvair normally aspirated engine conversion.

noted.

Sounds like fun.

Anyone able to give me a ride from Camp Scholler to the open house (or could meet elsewhere on the west side of the airport as needed)? TIA.
