Hello all my name is Tim. I am looking at buying a used Sonex and am new to the community. I found an A model with a revmaster I’m looking to buy near Vancouver WA and am wondering if anyone with Sonex knowledge in the area would be available to offer their services for a pre purchase inspection.

Welcome to the forum, Tim! As Dale mentioned, Sonex maintains a builder database that might help.
The Sonex database is rarely updated. You can also search the FAA registration database, by county near you. That will give you the address and you can either send a postcard, or do a little sleuthing and find a phone number or e-mail.
My beef with Revmasters is their electronic ignition. There have been several revisions, but the critical bits are potted, and it seems like no one really understands it, or how to troubleshoot it. If it works, great. If it doesn’t, rip and replace would be my plan. The older Revmasters used a dual mag off one drive, heavy, expensive, but well-understood.
