Onex Gear Leg fairings?

Has anybody installed gear leg fairings for the Onex flat bar gear legs? If so, are the results worth the effort?

I did test a temporary foam fairing, taped in place, over the length of gear leg that bolts to the fuselage belly - did not see any observable speed gain. I suspect the air at that location is quite mixed up by the engine cooling air exit duct, exhaust pipes, etc.

I doubt you’ll see as much performance gains with gear leg fairings on a Onex as compared to the tubular gear on the Sonex/Waiex. If I were to guess, you’ll probably see more results by creating fairings over the brake assembly and maybe transition locations. That’s just my guess though!
