I have found myself perplexed by some of the policies and decisions I have been seeing lately.
The only way I can make sense of it is by framing them in the context of ruling and/or saving the world.
Basically this 1K fee will limit the use of fossil fuels, and will result in the saving of humanity. An added side bonus is that wealthy elites will also not have to deal with lowly citizens in their airports.
My best theory.
