My Aerovee has been running great, and it’s been a great little engine to ‘dip my toe’ into maintenance on Experimentals, buuuut I part of me yearns for a bit more power (possibly a Corvair? Too early to say). Out of curiousity, has anyone had any recent luck selling a secondhand Aerovee, and if so, for what price? I’m curious what the market is for these engines.
Years ago I tried selling my aerovee but it seemed like the market was saturated with examples that had been removed for other engine choices. You may be able to get $500-2000 for one, depending on what all you include (spare parts), but I honestly wouldn’t expect much more.
