Homemade Tail Light Fairing Detailed in January 2026 Sport Aviation

The January 2026 issue of Sport Aviation has my feature article on making a custom fiberglass fairing to mount an Aveo PosiStrobe DV to the vertical tail tip of a Onex. I detail the process, which I first used on my Sonex, Metal Illness. I use the same process to make custom fairing for my wingtip lights.

That was a good article Kerry! Sport Aviation needs more of that content and less million dollar airplanes.
