Hi everyone,

My name is Francis. I’m retired and based in north-east of France, in “Les Vosges”.

I’m currently assembling the SNB0055 kit, received in March 2025,.

The sheet metal is almost finished (fuselage, wings and tail assembly).

The instrument panel is ready and wired. I designed it to be fully removable, using connectors at the back to link up with the aircraft’s wiring. I added a centre console housing the brake, flap controller, throttle and mixture controls, and the trim. Right now, I’m working on wiring the various components (Trig TT22, SP6, lights, servos).

Next up, I’ll start assembling the engine!

Still a lot of work ahead, but high hopes !

Welcome!

Welcome Francis!

Would you be willing to post pictures of your center control console. I’m considering something similar and would love some inspiration!

Welcome, Francis. Thanks for joining us! Looking forward to seeing your progress on your project.

Welcome Francis!

Hi Dan,

As this topic is for Introductions, I opened a new topic in the branch “Sonex B” and put 3 pictures there.

Can you add a photo of your center console setup? I’m having trouble envisioning that

Hello,

As this thread is dedicated to introductions, I opened a topic named 'Centre console in a Sonex B" in Catégories/Aircraft / Sonex. You can find 3 pictures there.
