This tip is the tip featured in my January 2026 Sport Aviation article. It includes:
-Custom rib that replaces the standard top rib of the Onex vertical tail. (This tip does not tuck between the skin and rib. Fiberglass tip is held in place with screws.)
-Reversed rib to accept the tail fairing.
-Onex vertical tail tip modified with fairing for DV light, which screws on.
-Front of tip has been modified for a pleasing interface with the leading edge of the tailskin.
-Will fit any Onex tail after removal of the stock top rib.
-Will need remaining nutplates added (not included) and more filling and sanding to remove pinholes and imperfections.
