My uncle began work on kit W0050 in 2006. I finished it up over the last 3 years. It flew almost perfect, pretty much hands off! The AeroVee didn’t miss a beat! Can’t wait to get her in the air again!

Thanks for sharing your continuing story! Great looking plane that will fly a bit faster and have cooler engine temps once you get the wheel pants and fairings installed.
Reminds me of my first Sonex (tri-gear) that was polished with a yellow cowling and the VW conversion:
