I (not so) recently purchased a used Legacy Sonex Tailwheel. Because of a hard landing by the previous owner, I replaced everything about the airframe firewall forward including the gear, brakes, etc. In replacing the axles I noticed that the tabs did not exactly line up with the hydraulic brake calipers. They spacing was too close and the pins bound so I couldn’t get the calipers in position. To remedy I opened up the holes on the landing gear axle tabs. Now the calipers are a bit loose. Anyone else experience this and have a fix other than re-welding and drilling the axle tabs?
