Anybody have any experience with these landing lights? Seems like a great alternative for a simple landing light installation. They can go under the fuselage or under the wings. I have the AVEO Exceleron Landing and Taxi Lights. Stop by some evening and I can demonstrate them for you. Of course, mine are leading edge also.

I think those are pretty new since I don’t recall seeing them when I was looking for mine and the date in the installation manual is from this year. The one thing I’d consider is if the light projection angles would work out with how low the Sonex and it’s wings sit to the ground.
Luckily my wing will be up high(er). I was thinking actually of going on the belly just behind the cowl if the exhaust isnt in the centerline or maybe on the lower cowl between oil cooler vent and exhaust exit, so I share your concern about the angle but I’m sure could be wedged or adjusted to shine in the right spot. I just wonder how bright a single unit is
