Hello – Just wondered if anyone has plans to attend the Jabiru class in Shelbyville, TN at Arion on Feb 20 and 21?
I took the class with a fellow builder back in 2022 - you won’t be disappointed. It’s an excellent use of a weekend.
I’ll be there. Driving from Dallas. Really looking forward to it!
Just got back to home base from the engine class at Arion in Shelbyville, TN. Definitely a huge recommend for those thinking of the Jabiru engine. Now I want to build a Lightning too! Saw the Milwaukee rivet puller in action and now added that to the wants list. Nick and Jason do an excellent job and have convinced me that Jabiru wants to keep evolving the engines. Arion does change one mag to the Rotec electronic ignition most of the time. There are rumors Jabiru Australia is flying an EFI addition for testing. Jason has the 3D printer addiction and keeps finding applications. They will be having more classes up until Oshkosh.
I used the Milwaukee Rivet Puller for the entire build - loved it.

I am also using the Milwaukee Rivet Puller as well. I love it, No heavy air-hose to pull around. Only minor point, it is top heavy, and will fall on it’s side easily.
I used the Milwaukee rivet puller as well. Another nice thing is no air compressor noise. The downside I had is hating cords/lines even more which led to spending more on additional M12 cordless tools. That led to having more useful tools so maybe not an issue.
