Does anyone know the status of the Allenflight wingtips? I’m trying to get in contact, but no luck answer.

If you are not able to reach him at the numbers provided by phone, I would send an email and give him a day or two to respond.

The last contact I had was in November 2022.
“Hi Alex,
I’m working on new Sonex and RV series wing tips that are an aluminum skin and rib extension with a small composite tip. Shipping cost is the main reason for this change.
I expect to be ready to manufacture in mid August. The design is 3D modeled and could be used to cnc molds, however i’m moving to the aluminum extension.
Please let me know your thoughts.”

As for who I am do a search for ‘AlexZ’ on the forum. Active since 2016. Currently flying Sonex PH-AWX and RV7 PH-PWP. Briefly owned Sonex PH-MIL. Fixed some problems with the engine and sold it to someone in France. Sonex project in the workshop. This is the first and only scratch build Sonex in Europe. The project started in Germany in 2002.

Alex, I had a similar situation, I emailed back and forth last year and we even discussed a production date before things went quiet- in the end, I picked up a set from a guy who allowed me to buy them separately from the nearly completed Sonex he was selling on Barnstormers. It’s a planned upgrade when I install my turbo kit.
