Flying (*) Legacy Sonex Taildragger, Stock Aero Vee (N-A) with standard Sensenich prop.
Dual Stick, stock drum brakes but with the following factory Sonex options:
- Throttle
- Dial-a-trim
- Brown padded ‘leather’ interior
- 6" tailwheel
Polished, no paint on skin (except bottom) or fiberglass. Vertical cowl. Brand new Odyssey battery. AERO LEDs Strobes on main tips, MicroAir Comm radio and transponder, MGL (LCD) display. Ameri-King ELT. No ADSB or tail light but wire is inside tail cone, so for now, Day VFR only.
Fresh annual just completed (June2026). Located near state-line in SE WI. Original owner/builder. Wheel pants (never mounted), plans, manuals, and some other extras included.
* Here’s the catch => 6.9 Hours TT (still in Phase 1). EAA Tech Counsel suggested this is not a big deal to solve with revised Operating Limitations if required. Current radius is within 50NM of (7V3) Bigfoot Airfield).
Hangar is month to month (no lease) and hangar owner asked me to vacate back in May to make room for his new plane but his deal fell through so I can stay for a while longer (until he finds the next deal?).
I just can’t seem to make this the priority I always thought it was going to become, so somebody else needs to enjoy this thing instead of it just sitting there - it deserves better. Only 3 flights so far.
