How about Tracy O’Brien’s axles

This is probably been asked before, but since I’m the new kid on the block I am going to ask it: what’s the crowd opinion on the Tracy O’Brien’s axles?
Are they worth the exchange with the stock axles, especially in a new airplane?
Thanks
Carlos

I have Tracy’s brakes on my Sonex for ten years now and it can get expensive if you have to use them a lot, otherwise they are very good.

The axles are excellent quality, reasonably priced and provide a hard point for when you need to jack a wheel to do a tire repair or any other sort of repair work on the wheels.

Carlos,
I have them and I like the idea of much better anti-torque support for the brakes. There are (4) 0.25 in. holes for brake mounting. I ended up using 2024T3 aluminum bolts on mine to save weight.
Here is a picture. The wheelpant mount is for the Van’s nosewheel pants I am using. Saved a lb. each over the stock pants and they look better IMHO.
