Flyboy acessories tail wheels

Hi all, just some info about the origional full swivel tailwheels from flyboys. They had copied vans dimensions but the stinger to main body angle is wrong, 21 degrees. flyboys did some more engenering for sonex, needs to be 33 degrees stinger attach to main tailwheel body. you could cut your old one off and cut/ grind /reweld to correct angle. i have been trying to get a new one from flyboys for the last year or more but blake indicated that the vendor had died, and they have been trying to get a new vendor lined up for their tailwheels. For a full swivel tailwheel, differential brakes are required. another option is peter anson , who produces sonex parts, and new full swivel tailwheels .Please take a look at his offerings, specific for sonex products.

Hi all ,just some more info, peter manufactures his tail wheels with a 28 degree stinger to main body angle.
He also suggests anyone with a flyboys origional assembly
to cut the stinger body near main body with an angle grinder,
bend it to the angle you want, then reweld it.
