The printsSNB-C05 call for the flap drive tube to “rotate freely”, any idea on how this equates to force? What’s too much, what’s not enough?

I asked that question of a long-time machinist and his answer was it’s a " light, thumb-sucking fit".

Worked well for me.

Remember that failing to remove the powder coat from the areas that rotate in the phenolic can make them difficult to operate smoothly. I always remove the powder coat with a torch and wire brush, then grease after cooling, before installing them. A torch melts the powder coat and a wire brush removes it from the area I need in just a minute or two. It works so much better that way.
